How does the AI work? Do I need API keys?
No API keys are required for server-powered features. Free includes 5 AI actions per day, Pro includes 50 per day, and Premium includes unlimited AI actions. Premium users may optionally add a supported personal Anthropic or OpenAI key.
What changes when I upgrade?
Pro raises the server-powered AI allowance to 50 actions per day and adds cover-letter generation, unlimited pipeline tracking, compensation analysis, and negotiation prep. Premium adds unlimited AI actions, unlimited practice-assistant sessions with transcription and analysis, and optional supported personal provider keys.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, absolutely. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. There are no contracts, no cancellation fees, and no lock-in periods. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
How does the real-time practice assistant work?
The practice assistant uses your microphone during mock interviews or other sessions where AI assistance is permitted. Non-Premium accounts include one preview; Premium includes unlimited practice sessions. It transcribes the conversation and provides answer frameworks, talking points, and structured response guidance. Always obtain consent before recording another person.
Is my data private?
We use security safeguards and process your content through the service providers needed to operate Interview Copilot, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account data from account settings.
