These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Interview Copilot platform operated at interviewcopilot.co ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Interview Copilot is an AI-powered interview preparation platform that provides:
- Interview question prediction and preparation.
- Resume tailoring for specific job descriptions.
- Real-time interview transcription and AI coaching.
- Compensation analysis and salary negotiation strategies.
- Interview pipeline tracking.
- Company research and intelligence.
AI-generated content is provided as guidance only and should not be treated as professional career advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of outcomes.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not share your account or allow others to access it. You must notify us immediately at support@interviewcopilot.co if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Billing and Refunds
- Free accounts have limited features and daily AI action limits as described on our pricing page.
- Paid subscriptions (Pro, Premium) are billed monthly via Stripe.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@interviewcopilot.co within 7 days of a charge to request a refund.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond normal API usage.
- Share, resell, or redistribute AI-generated content for commercial purposes outside your own job search.
- Upload malicious content, malware, or attempt to compromise system security.
- Abuse AI action limits by creating multiple free accounts.
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as entirely your own original work in contexts where disclosure is required.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Interview Copilot and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, job descriptions). AI-generated outputs (tailored resumes, predicted questions, coaching suggestions) are licensed to you for personal use in your job search. You may not claim ownership of the underlying AI models or algorithms.
7. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that AI predictions will match actual interview questions.
- We do not guarantee employment outcomes, salary increases, or interview success.
- The real-time interview assistant is a tool for preparation and practice. Use during actual interviews is at your own discretion and risk.
- AI-generated compensation data is based on publicly available information and may not reflect current market conditions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Interview Copilot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, loss of income, or emotional distress, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time from your settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion is handled per our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
